"Revolution" is back (and someone dies)

After a long break, the series is back.

So the series picks up moments after our Miles, Aaron, and Nora rescues Charlie, Danny, and Rachel from Monroe. As they escape from Monroe's prison, Monroe's army is literally empowered (by Rachel's power pendant) and one of Monroe's Huey gunship rises up and activates it's pod minigun (now the problem is modern helos require alot of maintenance when they're being actively used ... how does one start flying after sitting for 15 years without any power or jet fuel, etc ... but then it is science fiction). So fast forward thru this episode, Rachel just happens to remember she knows someone that has a power pendant too and high tech weaponry (so where has this guy been in the last 15 years and why is he still leaving in the same place in a post-apocalyptic world?!).

So our group splits up, with Miles and Rachel go look for help while Charlie and the rest of the "Scooby" gang stay to help the Rebels. It turns out that Rachel's friend has been turned by an even worst bad guy than President Monroe. Fortunately, Miles and Rachel manage to escape and return to help the surviving US rebel central command stronghold fight off two of the Monroe gunships. In the climatic episode's battle, one of our heroes dies fighting the gunships (the irony was that the death was more accidental by the disable chopper than intentional ... but maybe I'm the only one that thought that was kinda of lame). So to add another couple of layers of mystery, an glowing electronic capsule was cut out of our dead hero by______ and Mister Bad Guy visits President Monroe and offers to help him; hmmmm, WTF?!

Well, let's see what next week brings to our favorite revolutionist!
