Asteroid 246247 Sheldoncooper is listed in the JPL Small-Body database was discovered in September 20, 2007 but was recently named after the fictitious character from television's "The Big Bang Theory" in 2012.

Star Wars fans stay tune for the 2015 release of episode Seven (to be follow by Eight and Nine); Disney Corporation has announced yesterday that they have purchased Lucasfilm and will continue the Star War movie franchise. They plan to release one new movie every two years after Episode Seven.  Disney has also acquired the "Indiana Jones" franchise as well. Keep your light sabers at the ready!!

Sci-fi this week

Finally saw the Season two finale this morning almost a week after the original broadcast. Not bad, great cliffhanger for Season three!

While watching the Dish Network broadcast of "Star Trek", I did a web search for any new updates of the new franchise; it turns out they're in final production for the unnamed sequel due for release in a few months!!!
